On Thursday December 8th Tyrone Henry and the Rick Hansen Relay came to Sunnybrae.  To start off, everyone in the school performed the spirit dance in front of Tyrone and the Rick Hansen committee, and we ended the dance with a “Hip! Hip! Hooray!”

As a surprise the Rick Hansen committee taught us a dance along with the song “Firework”.  It was a great experience.  I hope that the Rick Hansen committee will always remember our Power of One dance.  Great job Sunnybrae!  Keep up the good work!

Remember the Power of One can start with only one, that’s what Rick Hansen believes and you should believe it too!  Go Bulldogs!

On Thursday December 8th the Rick Hansen Relay came to Sunnybrae Public School.  They had a blue van.  Tyrone Henry wore a special medal.  It was the 25th Anniversary.  We did the spirit dance and it was fun.  The school was great in front of the Rick Hansen group.  They said that we were they best school they had seen and that they liked the song.
